I was on Maui a few weeks ago. Took some snaps.
Kevin and I ringing in the New Year at Sama Martini Bar in lovely Puerto Vallarta. As a kid, I watched every episode of The Love Boat. It's as close to being devoutly religious that I have perhaps ever been. The boat was always docking in PV, and I always fantasized of traveling here-not necessarily with Captain Stubing and Julie McCoy-but a kid can dream, no? Some dreams do come true-the most amazing one, meeting my handsome and amazing husband. Twelve years together has gone so fast. I look forward to many, many more.

Nina Hagen was spot on when she sang, "New York City is a place so nice, everybody loves it so they had to name it twice." With every visit, this city always amazes me with it's histories, stories, and personalities and the unique way they meld with the architecture forming a rare living storybook, somehow encompassing all the stories of the past and of the present at the same time. I could spend the day just meandering around looking, gnoshing, imbibing, sitting in the parks, and visiting friends-and that I did last week.
Happened upon this Keith Haring mural above the drained Carmine Street Pool in SOHO. Dated 1987.

Crochet Bombers are so cruel. How is this innocent and unsuspecting child supposed to retrieve it's beloved tricycle?? Mean I tell you.
Ciao NYC!
Lovely Amsterdam. So many photo ops! The weather over the past week was mostly sunny, only a few rainstorms. The Gay Pride Parade was a blast, so many colorful floats going down the canal. Great day for people watching-from the kinky, to the cool, and so many people sporting pink.

A'dam has the smallest and cutest cars of anywhere I have traveled.
I could seriously only photograph the old bikes in A'dam. Loved this "Nostalgia" logo.

Tot Ziens Amsterdam!!!
Some street art photos I took in Amsterdam over the last week.
PTown is full of lovely gardens. Gardens which look like something from a Martha Stewart gardening show. There are also many walls with character. See what I mean?
Staying in lovely PTown until the end of the month. Here are some of my visual impressions...
When on Cape Cod, one must eat seafood...and lots of it-yum!

Many old doors in PV. Here is one. Shot this on Valentines Day.
Tiled staircase. PV is a city of hills overlooking the ocean. Many beautiful staircases like this one.
Luche Libre masks being sold in the market.
The watchful eyes of Jesus.
Some locals watching humpback whales and their babies who were breaching all over the place. Easier to shoot a pic of people watching whales than it is to get a shot of the actual whales!
Love the combination of colors and cacauphony in this pic.
