David Grohl is a stand up gent and a seminole musician, obviously. My favorite trait of his has always been his hair. His thick rocker locks have seen nary a change for the past few decades and to that I say, "Fuck you and your folicles David", and, "Good job Davey boy!!! "

RIP Poly Styrene. She passed yesterday at the young age of 53 after a battle with cancer which had spread agressively in the past months. Poly began the influential punk band, X-Ray Specs in the late 70's after seeing a Sex Pistols show. The band put out a slew of singles, among them, "Oh Bondage, Up Yours!, "I'm a Cliche", and one of my fave punk anthems, "Warrior In Woolworths". Godspeed Poly and thanks for all the great music and memories!

This week has been so sad with the passing of two of my heroines-Barbara Billingsley and Ari Up.

Now Wally, you will teach the Beav how to set the table!!!

Barbara was 94 years old when she passed last week.

Ari (middle) was 14 when she formed The Slits in 1976! Ari, and The Slits will always be a big inspiration for myself and for many others!

Life is ALWAYS too short!!! Ari was only 48 years old when she died from cancer this week.
