Check out her website here... http://www.maijalouekari.com/     Today I begin my search for a sherwani to wear to a friend's wedding in Mendocino this weekend. There is no way I will wear a traditional button up shirt with tie, slacks and dress shoes. I have done that before and always feel so uncomfortable and simply not myself. Now the key will be to choose a subtle sherwani and outfit that says more Bohemian Northern California Artist type, than wanne be Lawrence of Arabia poseur. Hopefully, I will look as suave as this dude...tamer of taxidermy!!  David Grohl is a stand up gent and a seminole musician, obviously. My favorite trait of his has always been his hair. His thick rocker locks have seen nary a change for the past few decades and to that I say, "Fuck you and your folicles David", and, "Good job Davey boy!!! "    Los Angeles artist Aaron Smith paints portraits with a nod to the past. He then moves his work beyond historical allegory through his use of bright oil paints often thickly applied to the canvas-the effect of which are lush contemporary portraits. The men depicted in the pictures generally have old fashioned styles of facial hair and prominent noses. A man who paints after my own heart! The artist is seen above with his 2011 piece, Zhooshy.
