The San Francisco Weekly recently described the Mama Buzz Gallery as, "The Queenbee of Oakland's young underground arts scene."

Ooh la la!

The gallery is  also a part of Art Mumur, a group of Oakland, California galleries who have monthly First Friday Art Openings. All of the participating galleries are near one another by foot, bike, or car. I encourage you to check out their website for a map of participating galleries and more information about the organization.

A First Friday stroll through the Art Murmur Galleries is a  great way to spend a warm evening. Hang out, have some wine, see who and what's happening  around your neighborhood, and view lots of artwork. Fun!
